## Practical task

A starter project is connected to Shopify or Shopware. A custom section with slots, properties and description is then built that uses data through Orchestr and can be placed in Studio.

The project is deployed. An agent then places and fills the new section on a page through the Laioutr MCP. The person reviews the result in Studio and publishes.

The submission contains the links to the project and the repository, a short description of the section and the workflow with the agent.

### Assessment criteria

- The project is connected to Shopify or Shopware, and real data appears in Studio.
- Credentials are maintained per environment, and the repository contains no secrets.
- The custom section has descriptive names, a description, defined slots and properties with limits.
- The section fetches data through Orchestr and uses design tokens.
- The deployment succeeded, and status and logs show no errors.
- An agent placed and filled the section through the Laioutr MCP, and the workflow is documented.
- The page with the new section meets the targets for LCP, INP and CLS.
- A person published after reviewing the result in Studio.

Submit within 30 days of passing the exam.

## Frequently asked questions

How much does the certification cost?

Nothing. The knowledge exam, the practical task and the certificate are free for everyone, for partners as well as customers and freelancers.

Is a partner account required?

No. Signing up in the Academy is enough. People who belong to a partner link their Academy account to the partner account so the certificate counts towards the partner tier. This can also be done later.

How often can the knowledge exam be retaken?

Two retakes are possible, each no earlier than 7 days after the previous attempt. The time in between is a good moment to revisit the topics with low scores in the learning path.

Who reviews the practical task?

The Laioutr team reviews every submission against a fixed checklist and gives written feedback. If a criterion is not met, one resubmission is possible.

How long is the certificate valid and how is it renewed?

The Certified Agentic Developer certificate is valid for 24 months from the passed exam. It is renewed with a short update test on the year's new features, without a new practical task.

How does the certificate count towards the partner tier?

People are counted, not certificates: a person with two certificates counts once. The certificate belongs to the person, counts for the partner account the person is currently assigned to and moves with the person. Expired certificates do not count.

In which project is the practical task done?

In a dedicated project on the free Starter plan. No separate demo organisation is needed, since every organisation can run Starter projects alongside licensed ones.
