# Structured data with Schema.org
Every Laioutr page carries exactly one Schema.org graph as JSON-LD, with no extra module. The SEO app provides website, page and organisation, and sections add breadcrumbs, FAQ, products and product lists.

Structured data tells search engines what a page is about. It enables rich results such as price and availability, breadcrumbs or merchant listings on Google. Laioutr combines everything a page says into one single JSON-LD block in the server-rendered HTML.
### Who contributes what
- **SEO essentials**: WebSite, WebPage and Organization, with name and address per market
- **Breadcrumbs**: BreadcrumbList through the "Emit BreadcrumbList structured data" checkbox
- **Accordion**: FAQPage when "Structured data" is set to "FAQ"
- **Product detail**: ItemPage with Product or ProductGroup including variants, SKU, GTIN, price, strikethrough price and availability
- **Product listing** on category and search pages: CollectionPage with ItemList
Newly added sections have the checkboxes switched on. Older sections saved before the checkbox existed emit nothing until the box is ticked. Variants without a valid price are left out, because no markup is better than a wrong price. Reviews, return policies and shipping details are not included.
## Step by step
1. 1 ### Step 1: Add the organisation
Have the company data entered under `structuredData.organization` in the SEO essentials configuration.
2. 2 ### Step 2: Check the checkboxes
In Studio, check the structured data checkbox on breadcrumbs, product detail and product listing, especially on older pages.
3. 3 ### Step 3: Mark up FAQ
Set **Structured data** to **FAQ** on the accordion block when it contains real questions and answers.
4. 4 ### Step 4: Test
Check live pages with Google's Rich Results Test and watch the merchant listings report in Search Console.

Does Schema.org require a module?
No. Structured data is generated automatically when pages render. The organisation is configured in SEO essentials.
Why does a product page show no product data?
Either the "Emit product structured data" checkbox is off, or the product has no valid price. Without a price, Laioutr deliberately emits no product markup.
Are reviews output as stars?
No. Reviews, return policies and shipping details are not part of the markup.
Can custom sections add structured data?
Yes. Developers add their own nodes to the page graph with `useStructuredData`.

Laioutr frontends render on the server, cache data in Orchestr and deliver media through the Laioutr CDN with transformations at the edge. Canonical, hreflang and Schema.org data are generated automatically; developers control HTTP caching via routeRules and how the entry script loads.
