# Growth Kits: building blocks for each business model

Growth Kits are packages of Sections, Blocks, page templates and features for one business model: Shop, Content, Booking, Marketplace, Retail and Multichannel, SaaS, Publisher and Lists. Teams combine several kits in one project and find the building blocks in the Section library in Studio.

Laioutr UI provides the components for storefronts. Growth Kits group these components by business model into clear packages, so a team finds exactly the building blocks it needs.

- **Shop:** the basics of every online shop, with product cards, sliders, lists, filters and the product detail page.
- **Content:** content Sections for websites without a shop, such as hero, teasers, blog, testimonials and newsletter.
- **Booking:** availability, slot selection, rescheduling and booking overview.
- **Marketplace:** vendor profiles, discovery navigation and listings for many sellers.
- **Retail and Multichannel:** connects the online shop with physical stores, including store locator and market-aware merchandising.
- **SaaS:** pricing pages with plan cards and feature comparison.
- **Publisher:** short formats such as feeds and reels for media companies and content-led retailers.
- **Lists:** building blocks for listing pages with sorting and filters.

All kits share the same design tokens, are built for accessibility and include structured data. Kits can be combined freely. An industry Blueprint assembles one or more kits into a ready start site.

## Step by step

1. 1 ### Step 1: Choose the right kits

Decide which kits the project needs based on the business model, for example Shop plus Retail and Multichannel for a retailer with stores.
2. 2 ### Step 2: Find the building blocks in Studio

Open the Section library in Studio and filter by Growth Kit. The kit Sections appear together.
3. 3 ### Step 3: Build and adapt the page

Place Sections on the page, fill them with content or shop data and adjust the look through the design tokens.

## Frequently asked questions

Can several Growth Kits be used in one project?

Yes. Kits can be combined and share the same design tokens. A shop with stores, for example, uses Shop together with Retail and Multichannel.

What is the difference between a Growth Kit and a Blueprint?

A Growth Kit is a set of building blocks. A Blueprint is a pre-composed start site built from these blocks, which the team develops further in Studio.

Does a Growth Kit change the design of existing pages?

No. A kit only adds new building blocks. The look of all blocks follows the project design tokens.

Can custom Sections be added?

Yes. Developers define their own Sections and Blocks in an app. They appear in Studio next to the Growth Kit building blocks.

Design tokens are named variables for colours, fonts, spacing, radii and effects that every Laioutr UI component is built on. A theme assigns concrete values to these tokens and changes the look of the whole storefront without touching any component.
