# Buy and assign licences as a White Label Partner

White Label Partners buy platform licences (Solo, Plus, Growth, Pro) at their tier condition into a licence pool and assign them to projects in their client organisations. The client sees that the partner provides the licence, but no price.

White Label Partners sell Laioutr frontends under their own brand and set the end-customer price themselves. To do so, they buy the platform licences themselves, at their tier condition instead of receiving a kickback.

- The licences available are **Solo**, **Plus**, **Growth** and **Pro**. Laioutr negotiates Enterprise directly with the client.
- Purchased licences sit in the **licence pool** and are assigned to projects in linked client organisations, not to the partner's own projects.
- The client organisation sees a notice that the partner provides the licence, with no price. Only the partner can cancel or downgrade it.
- The client books add-ons, Cloud, Growth Kits, group products and AI usage itself at list price. The partner earns a kickback by tier on add-ons and group products.

The partner invoice lists licences per client organisation and project, so the partner can re-invoice its clients.

## Step by step

1. 1 ### Step 1: Open the licence pool

   Open the **licence pool** in the Partner Portal. It shows purchased, assigned and available licences.
2. 2 ### Step 2: Buy licences

   Choose the licence type and quantity and complete the purchase. The tier condition is already applied to the price.
3. 3 ### Step 3: Choose the target

   Select an available licence and choose the linked client organisation and the project.
4. 4 ### Step 4: Assign the licence

   Confirm the assignment. The project gets the features of the licence immediately.
5. 5 ### Step 5: Use the invoice

   Open the invoice under **Billing** and use the lines per client organisation and project for re-invoicing.

## Check the result

In the licence pool, the licence shows as assigned with client organisation and project. In the client organisation, billing shows that the partner provides the licence, and the project has the features of the plan.

## Frequently asked questions

Does the client see the licence price?

No. The client organisation only sees that the partner provides the licence. For add-ons and other products the client books itself, it receives an invoice from Laioutr.

Can a pool licence be used for the partner's own projects?

No. Pool licences are meant for projects in client organisations. The partner's own projects need their own licences.

What happens if a client wants to buy directly from Laioutr?

The licence moves from the pool to the client organisation at list price. The link to the partner stays in place, and from then on the partner earns a kickback on the licence.
